I'll Be Home For Christmas - New Standards Holiday Show / Trip Shakespeare Reunion

It was a great night for music last night (December 7). Could have gone to 3 different shows and all would have been excellent in their own way. But I'm glad I did get to the New Standards Holiday Show for that first-ever reunion of Trip Shakespeare. Loved them back in my yoot...

No time to say more and the pictures aren't the greatest (nor inclusive of everything), so check out instead the blog on The Current

Fairytale of New York, with St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman leading the bagpipes. Nope, that was not a typo.

Trip Shakespeare reunited: Dan Wilson, John Munson, Matt Wilson, and the heretofore elusive Elaine Harris.

Chan Poling, Haley Bonar, and Maurice Jacox: Ain't No Mountain High Enough.

Dan Wilson appears to play Disappearing.

Isn't Jeremy Messersmith such a babe? In Toyland, here, of course. He also makes a mean Tourniquet.
